No they did not. It was one of those cannot test . I got it off of the Goodwill site. I just as hoping it was something I may have done. I guess I'll have to keep trying.

I purchased this online and it needed the correct sd card and updated. Now I intend to use this as a secondary camera. Once I got it updated and such the camera does everything correctly except take a picture correctly. The pictures come out with a red green blue outline on them and I'm not sure which direction to go in.

Gentleman Thanks for all of your comments I was able to get my ist DL to work correctly once I got the correct SD card and also updated the firmware to 1.03.

I picked up Pentax ist Dl for a secondary body. Plus it was cheap. I have large hands so I purchased Battery grip D-BG1 which is supposed to fit ist D camera. I found out that it does not fit ist Dl . Not even close. Nothing lines up.there's no plug in on the bottom of the camera body or alignment pins. Does anybody know anything about this?

I love my Pentax K20D. I will never get rid of my film cameras. With the DSLR It's mostly in control. With a film camera,you and the camera are one. I'm not sure if that makes sense.

hard to believe someone doesn't have an opinion on this. here goes. it will work fine as long as you stick with the triple A batteries for power. about 22volt total is fine.
stay away from the high powered batteries like the 500 volt pack. i got it from someone who is a bit of an authority on flashes so i would believe it.

looking for info. I' m new to DSLR's . iI still use film and have a wonderful example of a Sunpak 522 flash. Can I use this flash on my K20D without any serious repercussions?

Well gang I bought my first dslr a couple of days ago on Ebay . A K20D. I feel a bit like a traitor. Film cameras have been my life. I had a minor digital camera but it didn't mean that much to me. I almost didn't consider it a camera. Here it is.

i just bought this super program off of goodwill online. i haven't received it yet but when i do i'll post more pics. it comes with a pentax 35-70 lens.

It says the same thing as my "A" lens on the front. It is a an F/2 lens. I see that this is getting me in trouble here. I was just curious if anyone knew anything about the lens.

I have a Pentax-A 1:2. it has the program "A" on it. This one looks earlier than that. They look sort of the same. Both have a "K" mount.

I'm looking at a Pentax M 50mm 1.2 lens. I noticed it doesn't have a program setting like my "A" 50mm lens. Doe this not make it a good candidate to purchase? I like some input if I may.

This is the Pz1p that I picked up off of Ebay. I love my SF1 but Pz1p is light years beyond it. It's much faster focusing put's it way above the SF1 for shooting wild life. Now if I could just find one of those grips that I've seen but can't find.
