Great images!!! May I know what UW housing are you using that fits the K-3? My UW kits are Canon Powershots with Canon and Ikelite housings, but I would love to dive with my Pentax one day. I'd appreciate if you could share with me, thanks

Thank you! It was very difficult to compose and to focus a moving turtle in such a dark spot. I was lucky that she stopped for some air long enough for this hot

This was huge green sea turtle going back to the sea after placing her eggs on a nest. This beauty was huge, around 2 meters long! For this photo I was lucky to get her on a resting position long enough for a 10s exposure. It was an amazing experience, and I could hear her breathing in spite of the waves noise.

This photo was taken on a Full Moon night at a turtle nesting secluded beach in the Mexican caribbean. I was fortunate enough to spend a few days in a hotel very close to this beach, where I went at night for some Moon rise shots without knowing about the turtle nests! So the biologists guided me through the basic rules of the place and I could take some amazing photos, although it was very difficult to frame and focus in the dark, since I did not have a red light lantern with me and was not allowed to use a white one or even my phone screen.

Some coconut trees framing the Milky Way core last year during the celebration of my mother's birthday.
She rented a vacation home for the celebration of her birthday during a weekend of July by the lake in Três Ranchos, Goiás, Central West Brazil, and I had to take advantage of the clear night skies.

Exif: 90s f4.5 iso3200 @10mm tracked with O-GPS on my K-5 II and a Sigma 10-20mm

Spires of ancient ice

Spires of ancient ice of Spegazzini Glacier, in the northern portion of Lago Argentino, in El Calafate, Argentina.

Spegazzini Glacier is taller than the famous Perito Moreno glacier reaching up to 130m (almost 400 ft tall), and they are the only two most stable glaciers at Los Glaciares National Park in the argentinian Patagonia, which is the argentinian part of the Campo de Hielo Sur, the 3rd largest ice field in the world.

Unlike Perito Moreno glacier, which you can see from the road and visit by car, access to Spegazzini can only be made by boat, so you need to pay for one of the daily boat rides at Lago Argentino in order to visit this one.

Exif: 1/640s f8 iso 250 @ 300mm in manual aperture (since my K-x had the aperture problem)

---------- Post added 10-24-2023 at 06:47 PM ----------

Here is my entry

Some clouds seen from the airplane on my way from Peru to Mexico last year. A large portion of Central America was covered with storms, so the view from above the clouds were awesome!

Taken with my K-5 II and the 18-135 WR.

L bracket for a K-7: improving a cheap purchase

Interesting solution! I have the same generic L plate for a couple years now and need to tight the screw very well everytime Itake it off, but your idea will make life easier. I used it a lot with my K-5II and now with my K-3, so it is already bitten up and in bare metal now. I will try to make the same improvement on mine in the following weeks and share the results later. Thanks for sharing!

I shot this when I was working in a project in Manaus, Brazil, in the middle of the Amazon. They had recently opened the new bridge, so ine night I drove there only to see it in person. Traffic was almost zero, so I stopped the car in the middle of the brosge to tak this shot through the windshield of the car
