Hi Adam,
the setting which I boost is brightness, not contrast, my mistake. Unfortunately it's the only one related to the display.

Hi all,
from about 6 months my back LCD display is very dim, or almost black. When I boost the contrast I'm able (very hard) to change the settings of my camera, but the LCD is totally unusable for previews.
I almost got used to use to shoot as with film camera (i.e. no preview of the taken photos), but it still very annoying for me.
I read somewhere to keep the camera without batteries for a while, but it helped the first 1-2 times and for very short period.
Any ideas?
