Nice images.
Using the analog photographic process is like living in the country. As you drive away from the city, the traffic diminishes. The road changes from 4 lanes to 2, then to gravel.
As you get out of the car you notice how quiet it is. You hear the birds, the water in the nearby river.
Everything slows down and becomes deliberate.
Very much like analog photography.
I recently picked up a Cambo 4x5 camera. Still learning the process, how to "make" a photograph. Although it is a much more simple collection of equipment, i.e. no overwhelming collection of buttons, dials and menus, one must concentrate and completely focus on composition, exposure, etc.
And remember to close the shutter before removing the dark slide! :o

It's Beer Friday! Place your bets! Will old Rupert make a showing or will he come up with a new lame excuse as to why he couldn't participate?
I checked the odds in Vegas, and they said it was illegal to bet on anything that involved "Rupert" or "Otis Squirrel" due to their lack of gambling integrity.
Regards! :)

Beer Friday. I liked this American Porter a lot. Style:
Smoked Beer. Known as "rauchbier" in Germany, smoke-flavored beers were virtually unknown in the U.S. until Alaskan Smoked Porter was developed in 1988 Flavor Profile:
The dark, robust body and pronounced smoky flavor of this limited edition beer make it an adventuresome taste experience. Alaskan Smoked Porter is produced in limited "vintages" each year on November 1 |

I got to shoot a balloon flight on July 4th to shoot photos for our city government and newspaper.
I took the 18-135 and the DA15, but never got the chance to change lenses (and was a little afraid to) so it was all shot with the 18-135 which did a fine job.
I bet it would have been good with the 15, but I did zoom in for some shots so the versatility was definitely a benefit.

Before we flew I got good use of the 15 for the ground shots. IMGP6820-Edit by MattB.net, on Flickr
Bottom line is you will probably be fine with just the 15, but that may depend on how you like to shoot too.
That's too bad about your 12-24 as I imagine that would be the ideal lens for this sort of thing.
