Glass elements are in mint condition and autofocus works well on my K10D. However, manual focusing does produce a very minor sound, possibly caused by slight friction, if camera is turned upside down and focus ring is turned from 7 meters to infinity. The normal landscape and portrait camera positions work perfectly without extra sounds. Also autofocus works without extra sounds when camera turned upside down. This is how it was when I received it from the post, but I didn't return it because I thought it is such a minor issue. Most likely you wouldn't notice this at all, but I'm telling you it in advance that you won't get disappointed if you happen to notice it. The price is compensated for this because Pentaxians expect perfection from their Limited lenses ;-)

I've used my Pentax K10D for two years now, but because of its ruggedness and my carefulness, it has stayed on good condition. The only wear is visible on flash shoe mount, but that's normal. The screen doesn't have scratches and sensor works perfectly.
This would make a great backup / second body that doesn't let you down.
