I was hired as a second shooter by a wedding photographer about three months ago. This series of shots are from my first wedding. ( also my edits) Please critique, I need the feedback to improve.

I shot this on 4/28/11. We had a clear day in between the rain and tornado warnings. This is the bridge in between Memphis, Tn and West Memphis, AR. If you know the area you can look at the supports on the bridge and see that the water levels are unusually high. Since the time I took this the water level has only increased. Please let me know what you would do differently with the shot. Thanks

Thanks every one. Great points by all ! These were taking the day after the wedding and I left the camera on ISO 1600. Big mistake!!! I needed to do some major editing on all of the shots I took that day. I will post more photos. Please continue with the helpful advise. This forum rocks!!!!

I have never shot anything formal before let alone a wedding. A week before the event I was asked to shoot it....HUH? I think I was crazy for saying yes, but then again they were crazy for asking right? Well here is a shot from my first wedding. Please let me know what you think.

This tree sits alone in the middle of a cotton field. I meant to shoot this before the cotton had been harvested. I drive by this tree every day and it always intrigues me. Please let me know what you think I can improve or any other ideas on how to shoot it. Thanks.

Driving by and came across a van at a gas station that had caught fire. Memphis FD was on top of things. My wife was driving the car while I took these shots.

Im just getting use to some of the features on my K10D and I came across an extremely cheap flash made by Vivitar that I was told would work with my camera. Now the only problem is that I do not know the first, second or third thing about how to use them. I put batteries in the flash then mounted it to my camera now Im stuck on the what's next. Please help.
The specifics behind the flash is as followed:
Vivitar 840AFP auto focus zoom flash
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed for my flash problems.
