Paul, I don't know if it was intended but. if you let your imagination wander just a bit, you have B&W horse or a cow hiding in the cactus.
Great capture. TFS Cliff

Nice reflection, Paul. Did you plan the reflection or just get lucky. I almost missed it and saw the man? walking in the water. The I decided it did not look quite right, Oh, it is a reflection of the piling.

So sad, that one man's ego has caused so much death and destruction on both sides. May we soon return to a life with sanity and respect for our fellow man. Stay Strong the world is behind you.......

As I stepped out of my home late one afternoon looked up and saw this complete with a photobomber and just of sun in the southwest sky. Quickest camera to retrieve was a nikon S8100 P&S and it did just fine.

Seeing all those STEEL SEATS makes my back start aching all over again, definitely an instrument of torture that I left in 1962.

Nice film photo , Bonner. The pinnacles can be photographed from many angles and distances and no one photo can capture the awesomeness of this formation. TFS Cliff
Those have not changed in all the time I have lived 25 miles from this landmark. I drove past these many times before I finally stopped for a shot, about a a mile from where I was shooting. The empty rail cars were just the icing for the photo.
The link was shot from about a mile away. The Pinnacles with Machinery - PentaxForums.com |

Very nice,
That is where I began as well and is where I am now, however, I have a few more in between. 50 , 1.4 to 18-135 for walk around lens with a bunch of unused LBA and camera acquisitions setting on a shelf that rarely see the light of day. It has been a great journey and I would not change any of it. Oh, the Spotmatic was purchased on the Japanese Economy in 1969 for 36000 Yen using a lot of sign language pointing, gesturing and babbling back and forth. I happily left with my new Spotmatic and the shopkeeper muttering to himself.
