Wow! The colours and the reflections in that are just wonderful. 15mm pixie dust at its best.

It beats the heck out of me! My 18-135 spends most of its life on the front of my K-3. They came together as a kit.

If it's any consolation, Dave, my Tamron 10-24mm at 10mm does not always nail focus on the K10D. I do what you do, and switch to MF and the camera is happy. And so am I.

Well done, Dave. I don't think that you will be sorry with that purchase. And you now have AF again for your Sigma 10-20.

Thanks, Paul. A K10D will do that.
Those palms have really grown tall.

Thank you, kind sir. I knew that the conditions were right that day for taking the K10D on an outing. And it did not disappoint.

Thank you, Dave and Paul. When my old Minolta Dimage 35mm film scanner finally died, the economical solution was to buy a flatbed that was also able to scan film. That has proven to be a good choice for me. An unexpected benefit was that it also allowed me to scan the relatively few 6X6 negs that I have. Those negs were always nice to work with in the darkroom but now I can work on them with the light on!

An old church at Silverdale (outer west Sydney) which has been converted into a house. Shot with a Yashica 635 TLR on Ilford FP4, self processed, and scanned on an Epson Pefection V600 Photo scanner with a CCD sensor. So, I guess that qualifies to post here! scan0011_Web by Ray Allen, on Flickr scan0012_Web by Ray Allen, on Flickr

A big difference between "Understanding Exposure" and a Jack Reacher thriller! But it is a great mono image and the exposure is spot on.
