After 1st incident in beginning of april (as I reported here), yesterday my k-3 went in machine gun mode again. About 30 minutes before a lot of pictures were taken.
The original Pentax battery was nearly empty. After removing it for some seconds everything was ok.
I didn't replace the low battery, but there was no more mirror flapping for the rest of the day.

happened yesterday, 25 degree C, Pentax battery nearly 100%, Tamron 70-300,
I had a similar problem with my K-5 in Summer, 30 degree. (

But the mirror flaps of the K-3 are much more 'agressive' and I could only stopp it by removing the battery.
I guess, this error could have something to do with temperature.
