I guess I have never introduced myself. Briefly, my name is Steve, bit of a Star Wars fan if you can't tell.:)
I've used a variety of film SLR cameras however I seem to gravitate to Pentax film SLR's and shoot mostly B&W over the last few years. I'm looking to add a few newer film camera's and lenses to the inventory and perhaps explore digital.

For color, Fuji Superia 800
For BW pushing TriX one stop works well but I have only done that with manual cameras.

Ricoh KR5 Super, very similar to the K1000 although I prefer the sprocket on the take up spool over the K1000. Blew the dust off and have started putting some film through it in the last week.

For what it's worth, I just ordered (Amazon) a 3 pack of Energizer silver oxide 357 batteries for my K1000 and Kr5Super. I got many years out of the alkaline A76's these are replacing with occasional use. Will have to try the lithium next time.

I've only had the experience of a couple Pentax SLR's, the K1000 and SF10. I always seem to fall back to the K1000, just a solid camera.
