What we all Pentax users need to make them thinking about us is World Wide Strike just try to imagine what impact would it be if we stop Buying, stop talking, stop everything about pentax for say a week !

This thread for Canon ee-S that has to be adapted (cut to the size) to fit pentax cameras. Pentax does not make this type of screens. They do not actually want you to use MF lenses, they want you to buy more of new AFs.

I believe this is the largest camera store in the USA. They are a supporter of and active on this site.

Do you work for Adorama?

If this works as discussed here I am on my way to Adorama ha.

Anybody tried this in studio environment?

#1 is better IMO but, to tell the truth it is all about the very simple question " who is the hero of an image ". I can not see from the pic #2 what you want to depict and what is important to you. I would not get worried too much about "accidental approach" Just look at Mark Chagall's work everything is planed-accidental! and he is an artist not photographer.

Film-like qualities of #1 look fantastic. I would make it a bit more contrasty.

#4786 looks finished like that background blur a bit too much pp
#4885 she better look at the camera
#4852 i am not sure about framing here especially when you cut his chin
#4765a composition, composition !!! the tree edge and head should not be aligned similar to what you have done with 4780 art school basic good lighting
#4780 I would move big brother up

Not easy, it is only 12'x12' I was actually thinking about integrating shadows into image. Three light setup looks optimal for small spaces.

I agree she would look fantastic in studio! The green background is too plain
and distracting.

Give me tethering and I will give you $1600

they do not even have this option for 645d ha, ha

Listen people! The only way to help Pentax with improvement of they product is to stop buying they products. It is not a secret that there is no fair business. So, If there is no respect to what we discuss here and response to our little wishes for camera improvements STOP discussing! Who buys Pentax to shoot sports? Who needs 7fps? How many sport news photographers have you seen with Pentax K7? or will see with 7fps K5?
Why did they stop making 50mm f1.7? Is it opticaly inferior to f1.4 for $400?
Instead of improving products they just play games. where is remote assistant for K5? Why the top of the line camera is it designed for 100K clicks when mid range Nikon 7000 for 150k

Why do you need pic of a camera rather than pic taken with that camera?
They all look the same! Black boxes!

Thanks for your comments!!! It was very simple setup just cheap kodak flash ( ebay wireless trigger ) through translucent fabric stretched on my art stretcher frame and a reflector.

I actually tried to get rid of that reflection with a small white card in front of the tube but, in this case I had to change the shooting angle.

What I probably should have done is to cover the whole front with fabric and shoot through the hole.

Background for the tube is a vinyl record cover I think you are right it is distracting for product photography. It looks more like illustration.

I have two other versions of same subjects
Your opinion !!!
