Hello fellow Pentaxians,

The last of my Pentax gear is up for sale. Since I’ve purchased a D800 I find myself not using this gear very often, so to a good home it must go. All prices listed are OBO / reasonable offers. As I mentioned, I’m not using this gear much so throw an offer out if you’re interested.

1. Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 - $330 OBO (Includes PP fees and Priority ship) - Sold to hmvan

2. Pentax K-01 Black, Body Only - $280 OBO (Includes PP fees and Priority ship) - Sold to Bonjonno
Pentax K-01 - Pentax Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Cameras - Pentax Camera Reviews and Specifications
-Like new, shutter count is 2543
-Box and accessories included

3. Pentax-M 50mm 1.7 - $25 OBO (Includes PP fees and Priority ship)
SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7 Reviews - M Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database
-Lens and both caps included. Sorry but don’t have a box / case for this lens.
-Fair condition

As you can see from the pictures it has a scratch around the front but the lens is not affected. There are a few dust particles but does not affect image quality and I have never noticed it in any pictures. I mostly used this lens paired with the extension tubes for some macro work. This lens is a Pentax gem and IMO the MF on this lens is really fun to use.

4. Asahi Pentax Extension tubes with case - $65 OBO (Includes PP fees and Priority ship) ---SOLD to BlackTalon

I'd say 90% of my shots are just walkabout fun. I did see a couple of Otis' close cousins though and they wanted to say hello.

IMHO I think less is more with this model. She is obviously a very attractive lady and I feel that the PP on some of the photos is competing for her attention and takes away from her beauty. I really like the first picture of the page and the BW version is very nice too. I'm just not a fan of the overly processed images that's just my opinion though. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks, Gimp is very similar to photoshop and does support layers so i'll continue to work with it until I get better. Thanks for the advice.

Great shots indeed. I agree the tree shot is stellar but I'm really liking 3 too. What is your PP process for getting the "washed out" look in the 1st, 3rd, and last shot if you don't mind me asking? I know some people do it with layers in photoshop. I primarily use aperture but have started messing around with Gimp, any help would be appreciated.

Fun series. 2nd shot made me laugh. Good job nailing the focus, can especially be hard with moving objects.

Macro Some Bees

Yea it is a cool looking "bee". I live in Oklahoma (Same town as Thomas Shahan, need to get some lessons :)) All the shots are single images but I need to learn how to stack images. The bee loves the tree in my back yard and is there pretty consistently, only problem is he never stays in one spot for very long at all.

These were all small bees, biggest one was probably 1/4 inch. Anyways, I'm still learning. Focus is off on a couple of them but tying to get better. C&C always welcome.

Not sure what type this is. Just a fly to me :D

These last two are Blowflies. This pic has some CA around the flower, haven't had a lot of luck getting rid of it.
