Up for sale are two lenses I really don't touch very much.

Next is my Macro, The Tamron SP AF90mm F2.8 Di

Keep it as a backup :)
Or if you see it as I sometimes do, sell it to someone on here to continue enjoying as you did instead of it sitting and collecting dust.

Item for Sale
FA 50 f/1.7

Asking Price
150.00 USD

Item Location
California (United States)

Item Description
Glass is clean with no fungus or separation, there is VERY MINOR dust that does not affect picture quality at all. Aperture blades are snappy and oil free. This lens is super super sharp and in the user reviews it is rated higher than the FA 50 1:1.4. I might have to agree that above F2 i think it is sharper. Includes original front and rear caps.

Sold this once already and it fell through, because of this I have included my lens align photos with this lens at a -4 adjustment on my K-3.

Wow! I did not expect such a big turn out. Thank you everyone for your participation. This was NOT and easy task, there are SO many amazing submissions. I need to do like a top five or something, every time I go back into the thread to copy something out of it and I find another photo and I want to name it too! On to the difficult task, just because you arent named doesnt mean I did not like your edit, everyone truly did an unbelievable job on this one.

I do want to point out some that I thought were very unique that just barely missed the cut.

@Arizone Dave I like the high contrast B/W here, while I like it and I feel it works.

@nomadkng I think you nailed just about everything here, had there not been so much saturation I think you would have won here.

Now on to the winners.

Third Place

@Rimfiredude I like your treatment, it is actually very similar to mine when I had it printed, I thought this photo(when I printed it) looked best as a tight crop pano, although I didnt stretch mine like you did yours, I feel it works well with the image.

Second Place

@photodesignch It was tough giving this one second place, I have looked at this edit at least 50 times, I REALLY like the detail that you kept in the photo. placing this one second was literally a last second decision, almost close enough to be called a tie.

First Place

@D1N0 When I think of WOW factor I think of your image. I first pulled it up at work and saw it on my phone and was stunned. While some of the detail is lost, this version just draws you in and makes you look for things. Truly a fantastic job, very unique and stunning.

Again thank you everyone, I am humbled by what everyone did with my image. Great job by all!

When shooting in live how do you get the mirror not to flop? mine still drops out of live view, drops the mirror, takes the shot then comes back to live view.

I haven't experienced much vibration, I've done many 30s exposures without mirror lockup and they haven't been fuzzy. I can't personally compare it to the shutter of a 645z as I don't own one. You can defiantly tell when the shutter fires but it's more of the mirror flop. On mirror lockup the shutter produces minimal to almost no vibration.

I wouldn't say it's for noobs, it's for in a pinch, didn't bring all the gear you might just need. I actually used to use mine when I had a k20 but I bought a fong hot shoe diffuser to combat how harsh it was. Now I just keep my speedlight with me.

Oh Lord here we go, you too huh?

Look at any Canon full frame. Look at even the highest end Nikon cameras. So in retrospect, compared to the FLAGSHIP models yes, the K-3 and D800 are entry level. This camera is supposed to be the pentax FLAGSHIP right? I guess maybe it's not if you take the 645z into consideration. But hey, who am I to speak, I don't know anything about any model or brand of camera. I'm just a noob who holds a K-3 trying to make,it look like I know something about anything.
