I am sure your knowledge and technique has a lot to do with it. Years ago I bought a 70-300(I think it was a DL Macro) Not much money. I was getting really good images. Unfortunately it fell on a concrete floor and that was the end of that.
I've been looking for long zoom to try my hand at birding. Very slim pickings out there. There is a Pentaxian a few pages back who use a 50-500 and posted some fine images. I will keep looking.

A few with a 28-200 3.5-5.6 which I acquired for $22.00. I think it is similar to the one in the legacy Sigma reviews. No red ring on this lens. No creep at all. Not bad for the price. Lots of cropping.
After posting, it appears that one of these (the first) is with my Pentax A 50/1.7. Sorry about that.

A few with F35-70/3.5-4.5.recently acquired. It is my second copy. I dropped the previous one. The first pic is at the macro setting at 70mm. Did some PP, cropping and resizing.

A couple with a F80-200/4.7-5.6 on my K20D at the Hope Zoo in Kingston. Jamaica. Not bad for $30 IMHO. Did a bit of PP with Faststone, some cropping and resizing as I shoot at maximum resolution which is 14.6 MP on this camera. Critiques are welcome. Be gentle. LOL.

K5lls and Pentax F80-200. A few from the Dekalb, Ga airshow on May14, 2016. Unfortunately, there was a tragic accident when Greg Connell's plane went down and he was killed. Looking back on my pics, I found that I took a lot of his plane and had planned to post some here, but I don't think I will. I left about 45 minutes before the accident and I'm g;ad I did. My prayers goes out to his family and friends. RIP Greg.

Here are a few with a Tak F 28-80/3.5-4.5. It's got some weight to it and built quality is pretty good. All pics are SOOC and cropped/resized except I did some PP on the third.
I bought this and a Tak F 70-200 for $45.00. The 70-200 is pretty good too. I seen where the EXIF shows this as a Pentax F.

A few with DA 16-45 at Martha Berry College in Rome, Ga. The college sits on over 27,000 acres, the largest campus in the world. Anyone here have any info on the unusual stumps in one of the pics?

Kudos and many thanks to B&H. I bought the K5lls package on 11/15/14 for $596.95. I contacted Chuck after seeing a new price yesterday. I getting 50 bucks back. Yippee
Now must find a lens or something.
I wonder what happens if the price go down?????

Hope this is the proper place for this, As you can see in my signature, I have three cheap (maybe I should say Inexpensive)lens. I will attach a few pics.
I've been thinking of getting a Sigma or Tamron 17-50 or a Sigma 17-70. A few days ago. I saw a capture by imatginarium of "The making of bridge" The Pentax forum member used a K110D and a DA 18-55/3.5-5.6AL and I am wondering if I need the lens I mentioned.
A few months ago, I printed some 4x6 from images taken with my 18-55, 28-200. Tak Bayonet 135/2.5 and a Rokinon 28/2.8. The prints were great, at least to my old eyes. PS . Rokinon and Tak sold although the buyer has not paid yet for the Tak..
I would appreciate your thoughts. Be as brutal as you want to be about the attachments. I'm the first to admit that I have a ways to go with my photography. I did no PP just a bit of cropping here and there.
