i have a non-os apo 50-500 sigma. how do take the tripod off? is there a mark on the lens to take it off?

try waist belt systems. i have a lowpro trail waist belt. you can find camera waist belt on ebay. then buy a cheap harnes to support the belt.

i bought a caden sling bag. i put a camera with a 120-400 attached. it was total length of 10 inches. i could put another 10 inch lens on the other side.

i bought a refurbuush panasonic zx60 for 198 dollars it has a view finder, handle raw files and 30x zoom. i bought it for a trip over seas for my wife and i like the pictures so much i plan to take it me everwhere i go. the zoom is equal to 720mm. i am thinking to start a flicker post on point and shoot travel cameras up to 40x zoom.

i have a k50 and the battery will get stuck when i try to take it out. i have to use needle nose to get it out.

I would put a 2x teleconverter only on a f2.8 lens. I have a pentax 55-300 and a tamron 1.4x teleconverter. When i use the teleconverter on any lens, i set the focus manual to infinity before i take the picture. when I do this on the lens with the teleconverter the af does not hunt.
i am posting a picture with a tamron 1.4x teleconverter and pentax 55-300mm lens.

i took these pictures with a k200d at galvestion texas. when you use the teleconverter, you have to set focus at infinity on the lens before you autofocus on the camera. It was a cloudy day.

I use a tamron 1.4 teleconverter and a da 55-300. i have a sigma a 170-500 and a 50-500. i use the tamron 1.4 teleconvertwe and the da 55-300 because it is lighter. when i use the tamron and da lens, i have to set the focus on the da lens to infinite before i use the auto focus on the camera. i hope this helps.

I was at galveston texas and using the above combination. when i used this conbination, i put the lenes at infinite before i focus on the camera. this makes the focus on the auto focus on the camera.

if you want a long telephoto, sigma makes a 150-500 and 50-500mm. kenko 1.5 and tamron 1.4 teleconverter will fit on these lens. flicker has groups for sigma 150-500 and 50-500. ask these groups about putting a teleconverter on these lens.

I have the 170-500. I use the af.s and use the sr in the camera body. i use the sigma on a kr and
k7 camera without any trouble. the pentax forum might be to help you more. they have lens groups and one of the groups is the sigma 150-500.

i have the sigma 170-500 dg apo f5.0-6.5. i call the lens my little bigma because it is smaller and lighter than my sigma 50-500 lens. I have the sigma 170-500 on the kr and a tarmon 18-250 on the k7. When I carry the sigma 170-500, i carry it in a holster case. consquently I do not have to switch lens.
