Bayonet K is a brake of progress. It's valid technical reason.
We can see now that HOYA develops amateur APS-C system with DA lenses and pro MF system.
FA LIMITED is already NOT MADE IN JAPAN. The days are numbered.
We will see only slow DA and 2 macro (DFA) lenses for APS-C system in the nearest 1-2 years.
DFA and FA line of lenses died. And 90% of FA and FA* died on 2004.
And - remember, the man -
No Pentax. Pentax is just name of brand and photo division of HOYA.

I had no luck developping the RAWs from the new Nikon. My LR doesn't read them. Anybody?
The samples on the website have been processed by the in-camera NR. Nikon is famous for its excellent in-camera NR algorithm. So, Nikon would typically win an in-body JPG comparison.
I even inspected the red tree for fine texture before taking the shot ;) Noise reduction is easy w/o fine detail...

Thanks for the comments Anne-marie indeed he was well loved at least from what I saw. There were lots of people there including a loit of small kids and he was very well behaved.
Thanks Jer - reminded me a pet Mad Max of The Road Warrior would have. (great movie lets not get into how bad the star of that flick has fallen)
