I haven't seen this on my K-5 but I saw it on a friends pocket camera. In his case it turned out to be a problem with the SD card. So have you tried another SD card to see if the problem is still there?

Interesting. I saw ISO 70 being displayed in the viewfinder when I was toying around with my camera the other day but I didn't think much about it. I haven't checked the exif info though so I can't say for sure if it just was a display error. I also use the 1.0.1 firmware.

I don't think so but I can't know for sure. However the content list on the outside of my box does not state that it contains a printed manual. Are there different versions of boxes?

Hi,
Here in Sweden some pentaxians (myself included) has reported that there wasn't a user's manual (the book) in their boxes when they unpacked their cameras. (Some has also said that while they did get a manual, they didn't get the CD containting the pdf version of the manual.)
Now, this isn't a big problem since the manual can be downloaded, but is this just a thing in Sweden or has it happened world wide?

You can hear the dust removal system working by putting your ear to the camera. Yes, it's almost that silent - which the K10D certainly wasn't :) When turning the camera on you should hear a quick "burst" with a high pitched sound.
Unless my camera isn't broken, I assume that is the sound of the sensor being cleaned. :)

Hello,
My name is Henrik, and I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now.
I'm a dedicated hobby photographer and a proud owner of a K10D, however I'm eager to get to put my hands on a K-5 as soon as possible :)
Anyway, just wanted to say Hi :)
