Nice shots rise form , these are the best i seen so far from this lens .Love the look of the cedar waxwings so smooth looking and a great color

Hi Dave, with all the hoods on my lenses it depends what i doing , if i just take the camera with the 50mm and 20mm in my pocket i dont use the hood or i may stick it in a pocket , IT seems not to be a problem from what i have seen with it on or off, if i have a camera bag with enough room i will take them but not always use them . The hood i had is only 20mm high and 95mm round so it will fit in your back pocket when not on use , i just brought a cheap one off ebay .

I know how that feel ,we live in the blue mountains and went through a big fire not so long ago ,i know at least 4 people that lost their home , and i had my gear pack for a quick getaway if needed , thankfully the wind change and a big effort on the bush fire brigade , i guess we dont have the big water areas like you do so it helicopters around here .

Never realized that they could use the pontoons to pick up water for fire fighting ,we only seem to have helicopters here that do that in my area , great idea

The same A 20 / 2.8 on a full frame camera, it's wide :) i did noe notice the Guy next to me :lol:

A20 / 2.8 Just not quite wide enough on the K3 looking the other way should have brought the A 15mm

One from our meet up on WPD A 135 / 1.8 one of a few that worked out ,as i forgot to change the shake reduction ,was set on 600mm from my last manual lens i was using :(
