Another month down and that was quite the challenge for me. I had to think in manual mode in my brain. Tomorrow I install the Sigma 70~200mm and see what I can do with that. We're getting into apple picking season and fairs.

This has been a long two months and it seems to have gone too fast. I can't believe I've gone everyday for two months. Not sure if I'll make a third but I'll give it a try. I have a 70-200mm f2 lens I might use for next month.

Six more days and I will have made it two months straight. I can't believe I made it this far.

Here it is the 8th and I've had many problems using my camera. I attached the 135mm lens to my old ist DL camera and I've had card reading errors or the image stops processing right in the middle of loading. I checked on card reading errors and I'm only using a 1 GB card and I have the latest version of software so there shouldn't be any problems. Seems like the on/off switch is faulty or something. I'll have to send it out and use my other camera. I need to send that one out as well sooner or later.

Okay, I'll try another month. My lens of choice is a manual lens that I'll use on my ist* DL. It's a lens that Sears had put their name on so not sure who made it but I'll try and find. A 135mm Macro Zoom lens, f2.8-22. My camera has been giving me problems but I'll see if it last through the month. I'm not taking the lens off the camera unless I have to. I've shut the AF off and shooting in Manual. Now if I can remember to shoot manually we'll see.

I can't believe I stuck with this for the whole month. All I have is today to complete with a photo and I made it. It was a fun and challenging event and had me looking for things to photograph. I will chose a manual lens if I do another event like this. I have a 135mm manual that would add more challenge.

Can Sensor's move?

Here's my problem. I have a K10D and I use my tripod a lot for panoramic shots. I level out the tripod and when I look through the viewfinder it looks level but when I get them on my computer it's tilted. I think it's getting worse and now I'm finding that when I magnify the photo to see the pixels it looks like some are missing and I see white pixels where there shouldn't be any. I use the clean sensor function so every time I turn the camera on I get the clunking sound. Could my sensor have shaken lose or have done damage to the sensor by using that function? I need to send it out to have it checked and soon.

This is my first month with this challenge and I'm liking it so far. I look at the lenses I have and they are all telephoto. I have a kit lens 18-50mm, a Sigma 70-200mm and a Sigma 28-200mm, which I'm using for this challenge. All of these are automatic and I do have a few old manual lens like a 135mm. I have this feeling that I'm using more than one lens when I have a range to work with. I'm thinking I'll do this again next month and maybe challenge myself by using the manual 135mm lens or my 70-200 and pick a mm and shoot with that one only.

When it rains the ones that are outside have covers for them. They are not in the greatest shape to begin with. Some have the foot pedals missing and some have keys that don't work.

Okay if you want things from my area I'll have to do cow and cornfield themes, lol. My town consist of a Post office, corner store, library, school, fire house and beauty salon. That would cover 6 days, lol. There is also the 50 pianos set up at various locations. I found 4 so far and I now have a map where the others are.

I can't believe I'm on day 9 and have entered every day. I tried this one time a few years ago and only made it a few days then skip a few and do some more. It seems to drain my brain as far as ideas of what to photograph.

I'll try this one and see how far I can get. I have my Sigma 28-200 that I hardly ever take off and with the 4th coming up I'll need it for fireworks.

I also took them right out of the zoo and put them in a field of grass. Too much work?

I worked on this one again adding another pair so it looks like they're arguing over who the father is of their babies.

This was about 20 minutes after it came up over the horizon. The smaller moon is at 200mm and the other is a cropped.

I had them on Photobucket when I posted them so I put them in my folder here and they seem to be staying. Maybe that's why they disappeared.

I think if the light is that distracting I would use the burn tool and darken it a bit, but I would leave the whole photo.
