Hi Dave,
updated the settings for each photo. Pretty happy with the Sigma UC. Being an old lens, its still pretty sharp when wide open. Allow me to take low light shots with no tripod.

Sigma UC 28-70mm f6.3 5.0secs (HDR)
Sigma UC 28-70mm f6.3 5.0secs (Original)
Sigma UC 28-70mm f16 30secs
Tamron 18-200mm f8.0 10.0secs
Sigma UC 28-70mm f2.8 1/16secs ISO320. Pretty happy with the lens as its still clear with no tripod.
Tamron 18-200mm f8.0 15.0secs

Should had put something like a small rock or something as the subject. Thanks for the tip. i think it will make lots of difference.

Yes the effects of HDR can be quite dramatic. The following are the original shots.
Had lots of fun with HDR but taking shots with tripod is mandatory with strong winds a nice shot is hard to get.

Hi, I am currently using a 28-200 Pentax FA. I am fine with the lens but find the lens not wide enough. Thinking of getting the tamron 18-200mm. Will the IQ worst off as compare to my Pentax AF as the focal range is much wider?
