Or you could get a 1.4x TC and it will definitely mount. A nice retro auto focus 105mm f2.8. Or use some extension tubes to give you that few millimeters you'll need.
I'm considering getting one of these. It's way too cool looking. |

In all the pictures I've seen the red dot is always top dead center below the big af sensor. I doubt it can be rotated or removed from the lens.

I was looking at one of these lenses as well. Saw it for the first time 2 days ago. What camera were you planning on mounting it on?
I doubt it will fit on my K-x. It looks like it might fit on my Vivitar v2000. For sure it will fit on the K1000.
