i love Enniskillen and never move, this is not a common occurrence it's just mindless thugs.

hard to explain but my children were able to grow up slow and enjoy there childhood, most common remarks is when i go visiting family in the mainland uk is how innocent our children are as they act there age and are not corrupted by the life children endure on the mainland and tbh nearly everywhere else in the world.

i do believe in Karma and i never wish badness on anyone but i think it has happened in this case to one of the suspects.

looking at the positives to all this we managed to renew all with the house insurance which tbh we never been able to do otherwise and the wifey enjoyed the shopping and spoiling herself to extra's as the insurance company were fantastic and supported us all the way.

yes our dog was called Kaiser now it's called Sir Kaiser by all lol.

he is another story lol, he is a chocolate Labrador, we had a black lab for 14 years and after he passed away we said we could not go through a loss like this again as he was part of the family but my daughter did not listen so on my wifes birthday she walked in with a puppy and the wife fell in love with it straight away.

unfortunately after a few months we notice things wrong like after any walks it would grunt like a pig after vet visits and treating for this a that and bill after bill they x-rayed him and found he had hip dysplasia with one hip out already the worst they have come across they refereed us to a specialist who said he would have to suffer until he was 1 year old at least, normally they can break the hips into a curve but it was that bad this was impossible so between this specialist and another flew in from Zurich to do pioneering surgery with no cement involved did the OP but over a 6 weeks he had to be operated 3 times because his hip was out for nearly a year the muscles were like a elastic band pulling it out, eventually it stayed in and that was since April.

God was on our side because if they torched our house a week later the dog would not have been in the house as he was having his other leg OP.

Now here is where people before this happened thought we were mad at the how much we paid to get him right a whopping £9500 that's about 1500 usd, but he is worth every penny lol.

EDIT: security is be upgraded letterbox a fire-door and there is more which i cannot divulge lol.

it's being treated as attempted murder on 5 people, people think Northern Ireland is gone forward but not completely, who's toes have we stepped on would have case solved but unfortunately this is not the case there is another newspaper article which is headed by saying "prominent community worker house was was petrol bombed", my wife is on a few boards like police/community/DUP, she has cleaned up areas where there was drug dealing going on which resulted in jail sentencing and tagging's.

i was born and raised in England then joined the army and served over here in northern Ireland and this is how i met my wife and then we moved around the world with the army, my wife got homesick so i decided to transfer to UDR then the RIR, because my kids were in a good royal school i decided to settle here.

i have to say this that there is more good people then bad in this country i have seen the world and all it trouble here it is a fantastic place to bring up children and live, imo this country is about 10 years behind to the mainland where things like drugs are still very minimal there is no knife attacks you do not see people on the streets drugged to the eyeballs there is no prostitution except the odd one trying it on from time to time (i'm not stupid in time it will happen).

police keeping a open mind on the target is it me being a ex British soldier or the wifey doing good in the community.

Arpe looked at your pics and they are fantastic and exactly what i would like to achieve with my photo's one day, my son actually was scouted by the Irish selectors around Xmas but the rules here state he has to play for ulster first which atm he is doing with the U19's, but Arpe i agree with you 100% can Ireland play as i have the the red rose through my veins :p and it would be a hard pill to take if he puts on a Irish shirt lol.:o

RioRico thankyou for spending the time to type out a explantion to the extent it was like being back at school when i looked at the pictures to understand the story as i could not read properly, basically what i'm saying is that my noobie brain has absorbed alot of but atm it's dark o'clock here so cannot put the settings on my camera into motion atm but will do.

no more questions atm pheeeeewwww.

once again i was up in belfast taking photo's of my son's training day and when i got back home in boggy fermanagh i went and along the the lakes and tested out 2 lenses, first one was a Centon 500mm f/8 (Fixed) Mirror Lens the other was a Hanimex 500mm f/8.0 HMC Mirror, i know alot of peeps here are slapping there foreheads and say why why why do people buy these lenses, my answer to this is i wanted distance and googled about a samsung lens and started reading on this forum and advised on a thread these lenses if any.

i know understand why it is better to save up and buy a proper lens after field testing the above 2 as there are total waste of money, i decided to try a 2x tele converter with the
Tamron af 100-300 1:5-6.3 it was surprisingly much better then the mirror lenses and made me understand more about cameras.......i'm still baffled by techie stuff like aperture values and so on lol.

i manage to raid the piggy bank once already without Mrs devil noticing to get my first dslr, i will have my balls chopped if i attempt again so the sigma is out of my range lol,

would a pentax smc AF 70-200mm F4.5.6 be a much improvement then my 50-200mm and if so much more to justify just a kick instead of a chop lol

i found a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 is this another which is not a improvement.

my son is in the ulster u19 squad and was playing a warm up match yesterday i used the smc pentax dal 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED but swapped to Tamron af 100-300 1:5-6.3, what would be the best AF lens for this job.

smc pentax dal 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED

Tamron af 100-300 1:5-6.3

i was wondering is there a autofocus teleconverter so i could use the first lens to make it 400mm

thx in advance.

not stolen, i have spoken on the phone to him and happy with his explanation he sells clothes and he only put it on not knowing much about lenes and it was a honest mistake and will take it back and add pay for return delivery.

i would be daft to send it back when i know the prices of this so i might as well sell it on.

i would have liked to convert it for a pentax, what i cannot understand is that they ship these for all cameras so why can i not just be able to get a pentax fittings and unscrew the canon mount for a pentax k-mount.

i bought a tamron af 100-300 1:5-6.3 with fittings for a pentax, i'm new to this but why can i not change the adapter is it all todo with contacts?

serial for this model is 332437

thx in advance.

hello my name is mark, i live in northern ireland, served in the british army then the UDR then the RIR, i'm originally was from England married a irish lass have 3 kids.

i build and fix computers from home at my own pace, been looking for a something i would enjoy and this will be photography for sure, i originally bought a small compact camera with 3 optical many years ago so i could take photos off my youngest doing rugby but what i noticed was that i could only really take close photos which made them all pose when seeing me with a camera lol, so i bought a bigger camera a Kodak 10 optical and was getting good shots the i went upto a fuji 18 optical and loved it then i took a long time deciding on stepping upto a dslr thinking 1 cost and the other will i understand it.

eventually i bought the pentax k-x and WOW what a million times better this was and upset that i wasted many years with a compact camera.

i sorry but i will be asking more questions the answering atm.

i bought a "Tamron AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2" from ebay i asked the buyer twice via ebay pm what camera was it for he said it looks like it fit all, i knew this would not be the case so i asked him again and pointed out i had a pentax and i quote what he said "Hi not sure if this helps but looks like it will fit the pentax K"

so on this i bidded for it and won it arrived this morning and like a kid with a new toy unwrapped the paper and the box was revealed and to my utter disappointment on 4 sides it states
FOR CANON  and the model number if googling says CANON.

i sent him a PM asking why but this is the problem i know i got a good buy if i had a canon camera as i bought it for £25 all in.

my question can i change the mount to suit my camera and still have the full AF functions.

sorry i'm new to dslr,:D only a month so far but enjoying it.
