i used one sunpak 383 off cam, fired using the ebay radio slaves
it was about 12 feet or so from the subject on the wallride, on half power

i hope there is no rule about more than 1 topic a day
if so, i apologize and mods can delete this anyways..
week ago or so the moon was very bright
i believe this was an eight second exposure and it was around midnight
night time.. filler flash was a little harsh
skatepark
and this last one was taken when i had a 35mm Pentax *ist

maybe i am being to hard on myself, i just wish i had better skies, and i don't really know how to go about getting them. just looking for tips and any advice i can get to help me become better as a photographer.

yea, that's me on sp
and to alvin, i always seem to have a problem with my skies.
i can never expose my subject properly and still get a good blue sky.
my colors just seem off.
oh, and i'm just using the 18-55 right now. trying to get ahold of a 70-210

i've been shooting with my k10d for about a month now and i still feel that my colors are really flat. any tips when it comes to custom settings (contrast/saturation levels, w.b. etc)

yes, the 383's put out pretty low voltages so they were alright on-camera.
i was going to order the rf616 radio transmitter and the receiver for it and was trying to find out if i use it off camera i can use a fast shutter speed than 1/180 which is the max for on-camera.

so the only way to shoot higher than 1/180 with flashes is to get the pentax flashes? or flashes with high speed sync mode?

okay, so i have two sunpak 383 flashes that work on camera with only the 1/180 shutter speed. my question is, will i be able to use radio slaves to shoot off camera and be able to shoot higher than 1/180?

i've heard many stories about people using vivi285 (not the HV ones) on-camera and it wound up frying the camera.
this is a little off topic, but for the k10d, if i'm using slaves and 2 off camera flashes, can i still only shoot at 1/180?
