on some cameras were you able to move the hot shoe cover ,, to the view finder to keep light out on long exposures??

these guys did not know how to kill noise of the shutter,, or were they still in

when my sister ask me how much I would charge to shoot her sons wedding because the could not afford a " " real photographer""
I do not shoot weddings..
so I told her to make sure all the guest bring cameras and take lots of pictures to give to the new couple.
I was not stressed because I was not commited to get the perfect shoot and I knew they would get pictures
if you do the same thing it should make it a lot less stressful on you
