Interesting. I am surrounded by soulless cynics.
I can tell, I loved all Pentax's - K20D (first DSLR still works), K5IIs and K1S.
Yes, I sold my beloved K1S, switching to Nikon Z.
So much emotions and feelings were connected to Pentax - first its arrival, first feelings of something well made and consumer friendly, first pictures, expectation of FF camera, new lenses, comparison to the other brands, discussions on this forums, my daughter's childhood, growing with Pentax as a photographer, understanding and learning photography etc...
Nikon Z system better works for me, but I will never call it beloved...it is just a machine to take pictures that do not require a lot of time and creativity to post process...
Looking back and looking forward on the things I owned and sold and may sell, Pentax is still the one that desrves the word BELOVED, even it pushed me to switch on to Nikon Z..
Amen!

Hi Guys,
If there is a similar thread please feel free to redirect me.
I am proposing to all of you to share your pictures taken with any 6x7 lens on any digital camera. Of course, the preference is for Pentax/Takumar.
Please put some details about your camera and lens.
Some pictures are below:

Locals do not remember snow on Halloween.
For me it is a good day to practice shooting with the 67 lens on T/S adapter without a tripod.
I like the result, it is a 4 vertical shot pano, again handheld.
That was a discovery for me - using a shift feature w/o a tripod.
Am I bragging? No. Just sharing what's new for me. |

As I posted earlier, I made a tilt shift adapter for Pentax 67 lens for my K-1.
So far, I am able to take pictures with Pentax 67 75mm F/4.5.
It looks like, in order to see this effect more pronounced, I need:
1. Wide lens 45 or 55 mm
2. Bigger aperture

My ears are blue, my face is too,
Your ears are blue, and face is too
My lids are red and pink and BLUE (again)
Hey look, that tree is also BLUE
Ah, what can I do?
I am dying to be dyed by purplish-blue
Oh gods, do something
Fix this balance I am begging you
I cannot stand this awful BLUE. :-)

90% is lighting. You need an external flash and piece of white paper (I used Letter size). The flash is directed on the list of paper that reflect the light from the top on the flower. Taking picture in such way gives volume. PPing to get rid of the other details.

Ok. Just watched the video about the composition adjust feature. The mechanical range of shifting is much wider than the one made by the processor. On the other hand, the mechanical shift corrects distortions.

Thank you. I was satisfied with the quality of the shots centered and the mechanically shifted. If you follow my threads you will find some examples of the 3 vertical and 3 horizontal panoramas taken using the shift. I did not try the K-1 composition adjust feature. ...actually I have never tried it...Thank you for bringing this up , I will explore that.

I am just wondering how many worthless comments were put and will be put during these three months.
I am sure, they are all good ones e.g. "All good Stuff", but really worthless.
What do you think? ---------- Post added 11-10-19 at 11:06 ---------- Oh, by the way this one is one of them too.
