If you look at the application forms final question "What Camera System are you primarily using?" you'll see
Canon
Nikon
Sony
Pentax
PhaseOne
Others
So they aren't interested in Fuji or Olympus customers but instead their biggest FF competitors/PhaseOne owners. I guess it will be something which is aimed to disrupt their high-end full-format/medium format competitors. So something like phase-shift for 645 D...or the FF thing....or something else....
Just speculating, anyway...

Hi Ofer
received today after 2 working days my K3 back from the repair shop. Repair documents state "firmware installed (was before already/after repair 1.03), camera checked, mirror mechanics repaired".
So I my cross fingers that my K3 want flop hopefully anymore ;-)

...if you donīt find any repair shop in Sweden just contact the German authorized Ricoh/Pentax repair shop "MAERZ".....they deliver good work, are fast (unless at seasonal peak times) ....you could ask Pentax/Ricoh Sweden whether they cover the adjustment for your K3/lenses based on their warranty...my brand new K3 had as well focus issues with +9/+10 for some recently already calibrated lenses...now itīs at 0/+1 with most of them....my K3 was adjusted last month under dealers warranty.....but for my lenses I did paid around 36/54/108 EUR net for different lenses in the last years....

Hi Ofer,
please read my quote #322....it looks like that they can't fix K3 mirror flopping via firmware.....I had to send my camera to their service partner for an software update a there days ago....now waiting to get my K3 back....
So let's cross our fingers, that this really solves the mirror flopping issue (although it will be fairly hard to check, flopping happened to me only twice)....

Hi,
my K3 had twice the mirror flopping issue in the last 6 month. Just have been contacted 2 hours ago by my camera dealer, that Ricoh is offering an fix for the mirror flopping at some of their authorized service partners here in Germany. They don't specified whether it will be an software or hardware fix, but they mentioned that it is only offered to users of affected cameras. Need to send in my camera right now. :p

had the same issue like agchang....
...and deactivating the "live view composition" fixed this issue

Have the same issue...K3 with DBG-5 installed with original batteries...when shutting K3 off I have to switch grip on/off and then K3 two or three times on/off before K3 is willing to start.....let's hope a quick firmware release..:eek:
