Just went to B&H and bought one for $999. I couldn't dope out what the special site access was or its benefits.

And if I bought it with this deal am I able to also buy the drop/spill warrantee with it? You wonder why they just didn't let us print out a rebate form to bring in!

Yes, I live in New York. So if I take advantage of this "deal" I can't do it as a nonprofit/tax exempt? Or I could have it sent to a friend in NJ?

Does this deal permit a person with a tax exempt status to be able to get the camera without sales tax? I usually buy with cash in the store.

Thanks Twitch. So expensive.. just for a body. My K10D is stuck on aperture priority (at least that's what it says when i twirl the wheel) but shutter speed is the only thing I can vary at this point. Even more difference in quality K10D to K-5?

ABe's of Maine has K-5 body for 1275. I'm trying to figure why K-5 vs. K-7. B&H in NYC has it for 1279. But there are differences in extended warrantee available for purchase. B&H's is Very Expensive (389 for 5 years)
