I went to Snowdonia for a birthday break with a definite photographic plan. Unfortunately it rained and rained and rained, all my photographing was done within yards of the car....

Shutter was 1/15sec. No filter was used, the water was running pretty fast..

The weather seems to have finally realised that it's winter here, but I rather like the white stuff.

Some recent shots here, but the last one was taken over 13 years ago on my original Pentax DSLR (an *istD). I have completely re-vamped it to try and improve the final image.

Bridge will not write to a PEF file, but uses sidecar files.

If you don't like sidecar files, you can convert PEFs to DNGs, which Bridge will update.

Spent some time in North Wales last week.. The second image shows an old packhorse bridge that was preserved when the A5 was built in the 1820s..

Some better weather this week and I got out more..

An image of the "Shot at Dawn" memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum near where I live.
The good weather and brightness of the image is not really in keeping with the subject-matter.

A pub/restaurant that has suffered from coal mining subsidence. Their party-piece is that a bottle will seemingly roll upwards on a table, due to the leaning walls,
