Eh to each their own on their preferences, I have mine and everyone has their own. I am just stating that my experience with them has been great. Marc I also know their not full lithium batteries, and have done the research on them, but if you think of it this way, a rechargeable battery is much better than some throw away single users, for simple sole reason, I know it crossed your mind right then. You save money because their rechargeable. So anyways since this post was started, my recommendation would be the Rayovac 4.0's I like em and have had no problems with them in the 2 months I have owned them. Good luck.

Sorry I forgot to post what batteries I use, they are the Rayovac 4.0 Lithium rechargeables. Here's a link to see Amazon.com: Amazing Rayovac 4.0 Rechargeable AA Batteries: Electronics what I am talking about. It's for a 4 pack and they have a great lifespan, only thing is remember that if you use the flash, live view, or video recording, they will not last as long as if you were just snapping away. Also I have shot over 10 minutes of video and 2500 pictures without needing a recharge. The package states 1900 pictures but their just understating their product, overall I am extremely happy with them, and would recommend them to anyone.

Hey everyone, I am in need of some information as to how to save an image after I zoom in and crop it while the image is still in the camera. The reason being is that I took some great macro shots today of a few bugs and wanted to post them up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am still in my baby steps with our K-X and learning all it has to offer. Thanks for any help.

The answer to your problem is this, as with anything including car batteries, there will be slight drain with no usage. So there are a couple of things you can do here. 1) Don't leave your batteries in the camera thus they will not drain and you will stop wasting money. 2) You can invest in something like a paper towel, or shami style cloth, rubber caps, or even just a small piece of tape which you can place between the batteries and their terminals. Thus stopping any type of battery drain at all. I picked up some rechargeable lithium's while at Disneyland and they work great, I charge them once a week to keep the fully, and shoot away. Hope this helps, Tim.

Hey everyone, just dropping an official hello to the community. New to the K-X we just picked up, and figured what better way to receive any help for any question that may arise than by joining a site where everyone mostly knows what they are talking about. I'm by no means a pro at this but if I have a question I'll ask, like for instance. Does anyone know any good trail or spots for shots in Southern California around 20 miles south of Los Angeles? Thanks for any help in advance, hope to post some great stuff here soon.

Tim
