Both take good pictures and you won't regret buying any of those two bodys.
That said a young dslr starter who likes good saturated sharp pictures out of cam should opt for the K200D. If you don't start with raw the JPG-Engine is a little bit more p&s-like untweaked and fits the eye of a beginner.
If it can get a little more sophisticated (say you don't need automatic scene modes to choose the right aperture and exposure in a scene) the K10D is the better body offering a more technical and tool-like approach.
