If anyone is intested there is Power Boat racing in Solomons Island MD Oct 1 -3rd. The race is on sunday and the first one starts at noon. Here is a link for anyone that might be interested CBPBA Offshore Racing Event . Also there is the Renaissance Festival in Crownsville MD that runs in Oct
http://www.rennfest.com/ . This is a great time for anyone of any age with giant turkey legs that are to die for lol I just read that King Henry VIII has a photo contest for the festival .

It' not the same down here anymore, we now have 4 grocery stores lol The opening weekend of the tiki bar is just insane these days,people from all over come down here for it,it's pure madness. It's still a beautifull place with plenty of open space thanks to the wet lands.

Went down to the beach to watch the sun come up the other morning, I was soaking up the the sun and looking for answers. I looked down and saw this poor little guy !! It reminded me that life could be worse and some times sh...t happens. There was a hole in the shell and some how he managed to get himself stuck inside of it. Life never stops amazing me! So remeber to enjoy every momment of every day for it could be your last.

Just got a k-x on tuesday and this is one of the first few shots i took . I have no idea what i'm doing but in my opinion i think the photo says alot for Pentax. After reading for a week and looking at the photos i have taken i deffinetly need a tripod. I live right were the cheaspeak bay and patuxent river meet,so i see alot of sunsets sunrises and nature in my future. Nothing has been done to the photo this is just how it came off the camera. Any suggestions on equipment that would help me out and comments on the photos will be greatly appreciated . Oh the first shot was at 26.3mm and it was dark enough that i did not see the people at the end of the pier. lol The second photo 55mm S-1/8 A-f5.6 ISO-1600 no tripod no flash and on auto. The b&w i'm posting just cause i can't believe i can see the people and it's a long pier. Thanks everyone

Quantary 85-210mm, don't know if this helps you but this is the pic of the backside. I was told it should work in some of the other modes. Thanks for the help.

Quantaray Auto Zoom 85-210mm f:3.8 macro.. Does anyone have any info on this lens, I have searched but can not find any usefull info on it. No it's not in the data base :lol: I figured i would ask in this thread as there are alot of off brand lenses. I will be using it with a k-x that will be here tommorow and i am infant when it comes to photography. I paid 9 bucks for it well 18 with shipping. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I bought it cause my curiosity as to what a bigger lens can do has gotten the best of me .Plus i'm having a hard time understanding lenses and being more of a hands on type of person i'm hoping having two different lenses will help me figure this whole thing out. This lens is not in the data base and i was wondering if it should be . Thanks again

Thanks , I already bought it lol from what i understand the k mount is also called a pk mount . It looks in great condition and i got it for 18 bucks,hope i did not pay to much for it .Thanks again Adam

i was wondering if someone could help a newbie. I have tried to research my question but i'm just not sure. I just purchased a k-x and need to know if a Quantary auto macro zoom 85-210mm pentax px lens will work with this camera ? Also does anyone have any info as to the lens quality and what the lens wiil be good for ( what type of photos ) ,remember i'm a newbie and the price is right for the lens. Thanks:o Oh the site said it would work with a K100
