Life has gotten in the way.. I am moving and things got pushed forward so I am scrambling with that for now. BUT, LOVING THE K-70 and 18-135 lens..

Got my K-70 and the spare K100D.. After using both K100D's again, I am okay sacrificing one to fix the K-50..
P.S. the K-70 is awesome.

So I dropped some coin today.. Ordered a K-70 and Lens and a used K100D to mine for parts.. (Sorry didn't want to screw up a perfectly good Camera)

I am going to try it... Finding good parts may be the issue though.. I do not want to gut my K-100 though, just in case I screw it up badly.. I may still get the K-70 anyway, just because new stuff..

I want it fixed, I love my K-50. I want to take more shots with it.. I can build cars and electronics.. I will read through the DIY again.. I am in the process of getting ready to move and just don't have space or time.

Where is the best place to send my K-50 to get the Dark Exposure issue fixed? I love my Camera and I am not ready to buy a K-70.. I have a K-50 and K100D.

Just found this forum and had to join.
I got into Photography when my parents bought me a 126 cartridge Kodak camera when I was 8ish, I got my first 35mm SLR, a Kodak from the early 60's a few years later. I got my first Pentax, a K-1000 for 12th Birthday and it was love at first roll! I then got a ME-Super before a trip to Europe in 86. I swapped through a few more Pentax auto SLR's before finally getting my K--100D. It's a great camera for everyday use and can be used for great manual shots as well..
