Thank you for the feedback Migno! I totally agree about re-editing the foliage and rust to make it pop, since that is truly the focus of the image.

My submission: an old Ford pick-up on a friend's property in northern Wisconsin, shot this last fall during a weekend fishing trip. Shot with Pentax K-x and kit lens.
Thanks for stopping by and voting!

Great shots everyone! It's awesome to see how this thread is still alive. I haven't used my camera much at all (no portraits either) in the last year and a half...it's so depressing! Hopefully spring and summer...hopefully!

Great to see this thread is still going strong! I haven't been on PF for quite awhile now that I started out my engineering career. So now I think I find it necessary to have to post a couple of photos again to hopefully get back into the swing of things. :)

It's been a long time since I have posted here...I need to get back to taking portraits...Anyways, here is a shot from my first ever roll of film, nothing special image-wise. My friends playing a piano at a bar in Milwaukee. Shot with an ME Super and M50mm f1.7

Thanks for the great info! Yeah I ruled out Dwayne's Photo too after thinking about it some more and seeing how great the reviews were for them.

I noticed that the contrast wasn't too great too, but I thought that may have been due to light leaks and other factors. But I will definitely try out the Ilford next time. Thanks!

Thanks! I did brighten up the watch image before I printed it, and it definitely helped. Just forgot to update the smaller version that I uploaded to the web.

I finally got to printing some images last week. Here were the photos that I had done. MPix did a great job with the prints and the true b/w paper really helped the 2 b&w photos!

Hi everyone, thank you once again for all of the great submissions! It was a very difficult decision, but ultimately I have chosen the submission by EdwardConde. I really liked the cropping and the split-tone look to this image. I got some interesting ideas, especially adding an ocean where one doesn't exist :) Thanks for that Tim! As usual, EdwardConde will be hosting challenge 64.
Thanks again,
Mike
