yes, defintely! for me this is another great PLUS for the pentaxes! I cannot believe, that any serious manufactuere would change the position of the release button. when changing lenese on the k20 it simply feels confident as you can hold the camera on its holding grip and not having to change this position. this gives great security which is essential in handling expensive equippment. just imagine what happens when the camera and/or the lens slips off your hand ...
THANK YOU PENTAX!

depends on the lens your using ... I have taken my k20 with 18-55 WR (kit!) lense into the rain several times without any trouble ...

jpgs from p&s are mostly oversaturated, oversharpened and overcontrasted. add this to a large depth of field and out comes the poppy clear look the p&s are famous for...
... I have bought a dslr just because I do want to giv my fotos MY look. and as I by myself am not as clear and perfect as the p&s fotos I love the outcomes of my k20...
greetings, flo
p.-s.: it is very easy to give dslr fotos the artificial look (all but the depth of field), just tweakng a little in postprocessing.

I have the 12-24 and like it very much. I have read only about the others, but from the tests this is the best UWW zoom.
Got it quite cheap on ebay.

Hi there all!
I am Flo, live in Switzerland now but was borm in Austria.
Photografing for 6 years now, first with some canon powershot compacts but one year ago I decided to go "big" and bought a K20D with KitII (changed for WR) and a 18-250.
Later came some primes FA35, FA50 1.4, F501.7 and some old glass.
Still very pleasedwith minor flaws regarding AF at low light, maybe the K5 will help out?
Greetings, Flo
