I sent my K-r back for repair. It had severe FF issues under Tungsten light. I just received an email stating the camera was going to be replaced. Hello Sorry for the delay in your repairs. Yes, we are waiting for parts to complete the repairs to your unit and currently do not have an eta available. Due to the delay and for good customer relations I have requested a replacement unit. Once I receive the replacement unit (early next week) I will definitely ship to you immediately. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me. Take Care, Gerri Maciag Customer Service Manager C.R.I.S. Camera Services 250 N. 54th Street Chandler, Az 85226 So FWIW it seems to be a hardware problem. |

Abe's of Maine in Raritan Center, Edison NJ. They had the K-m to the K-r on display. They hadn't got the K-5 in yet.

Mt first Kr's e-dial acted the same way. It was erratic whether I turned slow or fast but more so when turned fast. I returned it and haven't had a problem since.

To all that have gotten or are about to receive your new Kr, check your selector dial. I had to take one back because it was faulty, I didn't notice it right away but I had to exchange it. It would move freely but the values in the settings wouldn't change or the pictures wouldn't scroll until a couple of turns. I exchanged it within the 7 days return window with no problem.

I've done it with a jpeg using Dynamic Photo-HDR. It came out pretty good IMO. It can be done and you can crank it up or tone it down, however you want it.

Nobody has it yet. Not even the Pentax Webstore. I guess it'll be awhile before it hits.

No it needs the adapter for the AA batteries as there aren't any contacts on the compartment door. I saw one Sunday in store but the salesman didn't know about the adapter. They didn't have the K-r on display, they had just got them in stock.

The K-r? I went to the Pentax webstore and they don't have it listed anywhere. Just want to check the price as I may get the K-r also.;)

Hello everyone. I just recently received a K-x as an anniversary present. So far so good. It's my first DSLR but I have been shooting for some time now, mainly Kodak P series cameras (P880 and P712) amongst others. Looking to learn all I can about the K-x and photography in general.
