Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum, but have used the site for a long time doing investigation - I finally decided to join!
I did my first vote tonight - some amazing photographs as usual, and now in the hot seat, found it very difficult to even get a top 18, but after much thought, done.
Now to throw myself at the mercy of the votes - we've had a very wet start start to spring in Sydney, but as fortune has it, good for the October theme!
I got this shot hand held in the garden this morning, when I returned with my tripod it had vanished :( ... not quite tripod sharp, but I loved it for being so unique - hope you all enjoy!

Hello everyone,
My name is Col, I live in Sydney Australia.
I've been using my Pentax K200D for around two years now, mostly with my old Super Tak m42 collection which I've all but sold (kept my 50/1.4) to update to FA50/1.4, Tamrom SP 17-50, Tamron SP 19AH, SP 01A and most recently the SP72B.
I've have picked up most of these lenses after much research and reading many comments from this forum, so I have to say thanks to all of who have influenced me, Hinman being a major factor!
Look forward to getting involved and seeing many more wonderful pictures that inspire me daily.
