The K Series 135/3.5 will have the full SMC coatings, so I'd keep that one. Also that saves you using a lens adapter on a k-mount camera.

Is there any specific reason you want a battery grip? The K-5 is very power efficient, I shoot mine every day but only have to charge the battery every 5 days or so.

+1 on the FA 100 f2.8. Has advantages, such as autofocus and focus limiter when not doing macro (I switch to manual when doing macro but use the lens as a short tele also), and, as said, PTTL flash compatible.

Honestly, if Nikon released a full frame camera with a K-mount I'd probably buy it. The only thing locking me into the K-mount right now is the lenses I already invested in.

(I don't know if this has already been suggested, if it was - I am sorry for wasting time).
Before you shell out on Lightroom, try its free alternative: Raw Therapee, RawTherapee Downloads .
If this is a bit overwhelming, try a no-frills approach: UFRaw - Download & Install - super fast, super easy, super quick-to-load, more than enough for simple tasks.

It means the installer won't show the normal messages and options to choose where to install, whether to install one or both programs, etc -- it just installs everything to the usual places without asking.
Download the update from the Pentax site, and save it to the Desktop. If your browser saves it somewhere else, like in My Documents or a Downloads folder, move it to the Desktop.
Go to Start->Run and enter this:
cmd
A command prompt window should open. In it, enter this to point it to the desktop:
cd Desktop
Now enter the name of the file, followed by a space, and "/s". At the time I write this, the version on the web site is 3.61, so when you enter it properly it should look like this:
pblv0361 /s
or like this:
pblv0361.exe /s
After entering that, it should bring up the installer window. When it's done, you'll find the two programs in the usual place on the Start menu.
