I double check the battery position
With or without battery the needle its on the plus side...

Hello to everyone
This weekend I found the Pentax Spotmatic F at a flee market and bought it for $40 dollars with a Zenit Lens (Zenit 44m7 i think... 58mm f2), m42 screw mount
Today I got the 625a battery and with all different speed and F positions the Photometers needle get stuck on the plus side
Is something wrong with the camera? Or maybe the Photometer? Is this lens the right one?
I read something about step down meter, but this camera never move the needle in other way that the Plus side... just move a little when I move the cam...
Any Help?
