Waterfalls are a constant presence in Iceland, they grace the landscape with their presence pretty much everywhere you look. Some are more iconic than others, and among the iconic ones Kirkjufellsfoss and Skogafoss are definitely high on the list. Here they are, photographed in winter:
Kirkjufellsfoss at Sunset, 6 seconds, Hasselblad X1D II, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.
Skogafoss at Sunrise, 3 seconds, Hasselblad X1D II, Hasselblad XCD 30mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

One of my favorite shots I got from my hike into the Adirondack Mountain Reserve. And possibly, one of my favorite shots of fall I was able to take.
Really happy that my gear allows me to capture the beauty of nature, it was well worth carrying it all on my back for hours and hours to find spots like that :)

Recently acquired a Panasonic 12-32mm f3.5/5.6 lens to go along with my Oly E-M10. The Oly 14-42mm "R" lens the camera came with was fine, but I like the smaller size of this lens and the zoom lock on the 14-42 was a pain.
Took it for a trial run to an abandoned grain elevator. Post-processed with ACR and NIK HDR Efex Pro

Pentax LX, K 55 mm f1.4 at f22, Portra 160, f16 and 1 sec exposure.
I kinda like it...it's very crisp but I should clean the forniture more often.
