Hi,
Every time I take a photo there is a clicking sound. Is there any way to get rid of that?

Your advice regarding this error was very helpful.
My goof was not using an SD card to load version 102
to my K100D. Never updated firmware before, thanks
again.

Hi,
I'm an inexperienced K100D owner. Just bought an 8G SDHC card and keep getting the error message. Went to Pentax support and downloaded the appropriate firmware files. Copied FWDC156B.BIN to my new card; put it into the camera; pressed the menu button while turning the camera on. Instead of seeing the hoped for NOW Loading, I got Ver. 100 not the 102 I wanted followed by memory card error.
Thought I finally did everything right, but after 3 attempts I'm still back to square one.
Any help would be appreciated.
