always have to look at what's the write speed. they do trick like saying class10, but only the read speed up to class 10 not write speed

I probably would have lost confident in pentax if I were you. After trying so many things and end up returning the camera although it's probably not pentax fault. I am sure other manufacturer have qc problems as well

I am in asia, seen a lot of sony, canon, nikon, olympus, few fuji but no pentax
Came across with the closest one, the dealer of blue girl beer also do pentax

What makes you change system?
how about auto continuous autofocus?
It's always nice to hear what they have to say about pentax from people shooting pro from other system
Other than the wifi thing, are there anythings pentax is lagging behind?

read the thread, still don't get it.
This method improves focusing ability for single shots not for burst mode?
i normally use burst mode and afc for sport.

In afc mode, the shutter being held down it's not suppose to focus continuous?

don't have a k3 but how's that work to increase keeper? the shutter button and the af button are held down the whole time. why decouple them?

don't know much about material, though metal seems tougher. Electronic components don't like being shock. If you fall a camera, the electronic part inside get shocked anyway and I don't think metal chassis can reduce shock. And i think the electronics are the most fragile part in a camera, so the shock kills the electronics in the camera, it doesn't matter how well the case holds up.
I have tried canon 100d in shop. it's a lot smaller than any dslr and light weight and i think i will appeal to a lot of people, sure it feel plasticky but so as my k200d.
I think this metal body thingy don't matter to most people, it doesn't enhance your shooting skill or affect the performance of the camera. Women do prefer a lighter and small body. Only photographic geeks do want such so called "solid feel"

In the autofocus section it says
Users of lenses with screwdrive autofocus will enjoy up to 50% faster focusing speeds from the K-3, as it has been fitted with a more powerful motor.
Is this phase detection or contrast detection up to 50%faster?

what is pentax end up like konica minolta, no more pentax just ricoh everything, ricoh k mount and pentax is just some water pump company

I don't have a k3 yet but the box and the new hd coating lenses have a big ricoh then a small pentax logo. Makes me uncomfortable. I know it doens't affect the performance. I am sure konica minolta fan didn't the sony logo back then.
don't know should this thread in pentax k3 section or accessory section.

I got this one second hand, the guy sold me this said no full time manual override
In manual mode, body mf, lens mf, it's not as freely rotate as pentax 17-70
but a bit more like manual focus old lens with a bit friction . Is this the case in your copies?
