The boat looked abandoned, and slowly sinking. pjthiel: You are right, there is too much red. But I checked the original picture again. That was a cloudy day, the reflection of the hull was quite colorless. |

This was taken in the previous summer, and now I developed it with Bibble. How do you like the use of b&w plus one colour?

Nice parrot.
Maybe a bit underexposed, and looks dark. To remove the white spot try some crop, a square or something.

In some software a single raw file can be used to create HDR image. There is enough information in a raw file for tone-mapping.

My fav is the #3. It shows the truck as a big and powerful machine. The other pics are too red, and too much HDR

I used Rawtherapee. It has great features, but slow, and the development of the version 3 seems to be frozen. I gave darktable a try, but with Opensuse it's a bit unstable and still has some missing feature. And now I use Bibble5 lite.

Nice parrot portraits. For me the 4. is the best (although a bit underexposed). Try to put a piece of paper in front of the flash, to reduce the harsh shadows.
