Thank you all for your help! B&H issued an RMA and I sent the camera back to them. Hopefully I will receive a working replacement soon.

It is a new camera, but B&H has a 15 day policy, I missed it by about 2 days. I emailed them just in case they are feel generous. Tv and Av give the same problem. I switched the function of the e-dials. It appears that the rear dial is barely responsive. The front dial works somewhat, sometimes instead of decreasing the shutterspeed, it will increase it.

Nick,
Thanks for the advice. I tried canned air to no avail. If I don't hear other suggestions soon, I'll contact Pentax. This is somewhat frustrating/disappointing seeing as how I have had the camera for about two weeks.

I have started to experience issues trying to set the exposure settings on the K-7 (using DA 18-55 WR). The problem is present in M. Essentially the camera will not allow me to adjust the aperture, the shutter speed, or the ISO. Sometimes it will allow me to adjust up or down a stop, but not too often. I have read the manual, but I didn't find it too helpful.
The actions I have taken: I have reset the camera to factory settings, recharged the battery, updated the firmware, unmounted and remounted the lens, and told the camera not to save settings.
I'm really not sure what else to do. This has happened both when taking night shots and shots in the afternoon (not that it should matter). Does anyone have any suggestions?
