on my little km when im shooting i half press the shutter button and it auto focuses when in focus it bleeps and shows a little green indicator HERE IS MY Q dose the k-500 do that i believe the k-50 and as they are supposed to be the same camera except weather seal

cheers for all your help guys think im going to stick to pentax as i have the lenses already so Q is upgrade to ? k30 or K50 or ? from my km what ever i choose will probably have to be 2nd hand

i so agree with the quote it not the camera its the photographer that makes the picture and as iv only got a Km (which i love) with about 4 lenses with 2 i mainly use i was looking to upgrade in the future the k50 tooks superb with very similar controls to the km but i was wondering peoples opinion

i do alot of track days and sports but also landscape nature and macro all my lenses are 3 party sigma and tamron but of cause have the pentax fitting as for budget its low

i really like both the k50 and k30 but still a little high for me at the moment im not looking for top of the range just a good improvement on my old faithful higher shutter speed more frames p.s more camera dosent have to be the newest one. Any more advice guys

when im at track days im using the sigma 55-300 at its max length because cant get as close as id like to do find it a bit slow at times but that might be the camera as much as the lens i also use my tamron 18-200 but that i do use more when im landscaping and shooting sunsets

are the DA pentax lenses better than the sigma or tamron i.e the DA 55-300 or even the 50-200 or is my tamron 18-200 or sigma 70-300 or quantaray 70-300 and before you ask y have i 2 70-300 its because i had the quantaray and then bought the sigma thinking better make but now compareing them against each other and selling one of them
