SD card -- Will it work?

I ordered a 8gb SanDisk Extreme III card from Amazon for my k-r. They sent me a SanDisk Extreme HD Video 20MB/s SDHC card (8GB/120min). The envelope even states Extreme III SDSDX3-8192 but the wrong card was inside.

Will it work? Should I send it back?

Thanks in advance...

Crumpler bag question...

So I just ordered a new k-r with kit lense + 55-300 lense and I need a bag.

I really like the looks of the Crumpler bags. Would the 4 million dollar bag be big enough to hold the camera, both lenses w/hoods and charger? I'm thinking the 5 million may be better but I want to go as small as I can get away with.

Any other suggestions would be welcome?

Thanks as always...

Don't be too mad, you still got a good deal. The Amazon price is still at $999 for the same package with the 55-300 lense. The $899 price is for the 50-200 lense...

Wow a lot of negativity towards a company with 99.5 positive and an ebay customer satisfation award.

FWIW, i did contact the company prior to the purchase and the sales rep confirmed that they are a Pentax authorized dealer and the camera was a USA model with a one year USA manufacturers warranty for the camera and lenses. So unless he flat out lied to me on the phone, everything seems legit so I bought it. I'll report back when (or as some think "if" i get it).

BTW, he offered a 3 year extended "Mack" warranty for the Camera and lenses. Again, I think this sounds like a good deal, should I buy it or are there better options out there?

Thanks for your comments...

I just pulled the trigger on my first dslr, I'm so excited!!! Got a good deal on ebay. Much lower price than I've seen anywhere:

Pentax K-r Digital SLR Camera w/ 18-55mm & 55-300mm Len - eBay (item 130446111551 end time Nov-19-10 07:44:55 PST)

Time to hit these forums hard and learn as much as I can :)

Newbie lense question

Thank you all for the answers, they make sence...

I'm use to my 3.7x Canon point and shoot which my wife always complains about as not having enough "zoom" to pull an image close. I want to be sure I get the appropriate "zoom" capability for my kids sporting events.

This transition over to dslr is still confusing and intimidating but I'm extremely determined to learn. Thanks for the info, great site!

Can someone please explain the zoom capabilities of dslr lenses. Coming from point and shoot world where zoom is explained as 5x, 10x etc.. how far would a 200mm and 300mm lense zoom (5x, 10x ?) Is there a formula to determine?

Thanks in advance...
