Pros small, light, panorama setting, AF Cons small viewfinder Rating 9 Price (U.S. Dollars) $65 Years Owned 1

I can recommend this camera: Yes

Value, Features, Performance & Size
Cheap, small, and light with decent AF and panorama setting. Haven't had any problems with mine.

Camera Review
The main reason I love it is the size and weight. I can put it in one cargo pants pocket and stick a pancake in the other. Autofocus is decent, but not always the quickest (it's probably because I'm used to more expensive/faster Canon cameras). Though not essential, I've come to really like the panorama setting to help frame things a little different. I wish the viewfinder was a little bigger and had a split focus screen by default (like the ZX-M). These are minor things given the size, weight, and price of this camera. I think if you get this camera and put the ZX-M focus screen in it, you might have the perfect small SLR for manual and AF. Great camera...

superA Vs. MZ-M

I've never had a superA, but I do have the ZX-M/MZ-M. I got it for the small size and light weight. The viewfinder is a little too small in comparison with other film cameras with nice big viewfinders. Other than that, I love it. I do find the viewfinder info on the right easy to see in any light. I've been thinking about trying an eyepiece magnifyer on it just to help with focusing. Metering is great...

I've found these forums and the camera/lens DBs immensely useful in the past year or so. I'm a longtime photographer, but I came to Pentax by way of K mount lenses on my Canon bodies via an adapter (Pentax-A 50mm F1.7, Helios 44K-4, etc.). Then, I ended up with the K-x DSLR and the ZX-M 35mm bodies. I love the size of Pentax bodies and pancakes, and I'm hoping Pentax comes out with a great EVIL soon...Thanks!!!

Pros small, trap focus, video, cross processing mode Cons small viewfinder, no focus points in the viewfinder Rating 9 Price (U.S. Dollars) $500 Years Owned 1

I can recommend this camera: Yes

Value, Features, Performance & Size
cheap (price-wise), feature rich, and small dslr

Camera Review
Works well with manual focus lenses...You can set it up to do trap/catch focus where you hold down the shutter button, and it won't take a picture until the body determines the subject is in focus. It's great!! Add video, cross processing mode, small size, etc., and I think this body is leagues above the competition at this price.

Pros Small and light!!! Cons small viewfinder Rating 9 Price (U.S. Dollars) ~$50 Years Owned 1

I can recommend this camera: Yes

Value, Features, Performance & Size
Cheap, Manual Focus, Small and Light

Camera Review
Pentax's last manual focus body...A great body for travelling light. Ultra simple in its design. It works!!! I still wish the viewfinder was slightly bigger. I might try an eyepiece magnifier on it at some point.
