Thanks, got it sorted.
Will shoot raw, but keep LCD monochrome for composition and convert to BW using Lightroom or Silver Effects.
Love the MX1 as a have with me always camera - K5 a bit heavy for that.
Working great, bit slow to save the images and I am sure one day I will stop trying to turn it on with the lens cap still on !!
Pentax On I say.

I just picked up my MX 1 - I have set the Custom Image to BW and happily shot some pictures.
when I import the photos to Lightroom they show up as color photos not BW - even tough ont eh viewfinder they have come up with BW.
is it a filter that only works in camera .
I am shooting in Raw - which may be the answer ??

Hi all,
I am Ollie, living on South Coast of NSW. Just switched from Leica to Pentax for lots of reasons. Tested the K7 but didn't buy waiting for the K5. So I have all the lens now and flashes and even a lens baby the only thing I need now is a K5. Man where is it. But I like being a Pentaxion already. We will have fun.
