Hi I am about to purchase a k-r, what lens do you suggest for indoor sports? And do you think the kit 55-300 would do some otudoor?
Thanks:lol:

Hi, I am in the market for dslr (my first) and was leasing very much towards k-r but have come across with mostly people complaining on forums, about foucsing, exposure, fiaos, etc. So are you hay with it? Would you recommend it to a friend?
Thank you, i just can't deal with camera being sent for repairs as i am leaving in two weeks for a two month trip with camera :)

Hi, sorry for not thanking you before for your answers. Since i am new to all of this, could you help me understand a little better what the problem is? Right now I think i am confused thinking that the problem would result in a large amount of unfocused shots? Is it true and is there a way to fix it? What would you do if you were me? Would you still buy it?

HI, I am considering a k-r? How bad is the AF problem? Do you think it can be solved with firmware update?

I too am debating the same, although leaning more towards k-r due to the faster AF and higher burst. Since I plan to shoot some action. Is the AF increase substantial? What do you think?

Hi, As I said am new to pentax and DSRL, i've been doing some research, and so far think I like Pentax more over some more popular brands. Unfortunatedly there is no Pentax retail store around here, so no way to really seeing it.
I want to be able to sometimes shoot some martial arts events and some outdoor horseback ridding, as well as to keep up with my kids 6 and 4 yrs. I plan on mostly take pictures of them and possible some landscapes.
So finally here are the questions:
1. How faster is the AF on the k-r than the k-x?
2. Which do you think will be better suited for my needs?
3. Right now there are pretty good deals for the k-x but would be willing to spend the xtra $$ for the k-r if that is a better match.
Thanks for your help:confused:

Hi, I do not yet own a Pentax or any DSRL for that matter. I would like to find out more about the k-r.
