I recently acquired my first DSLR, a Pentax K-x, and I've picked up a couple of lenses too. I have an FA 35mm F2, and an FA 17-70mm F4, along with the kit. I only brought the first two with me to Paris over the weekend. After taking an introductory DSLR photo class, and several days of practice in NYC, here are some of my results.

Hello all -- first time poster and new to DSLR photography. Really excited about learning -- did a fair bit of reading before I purchased, but there's nothing like just getting out there and shooting and editing. Just doing this in my free time, but having a blast.
I took most of these in the Lincoln Square/Columbus Circle area of Manhattan, and the last 3 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I'm using a K-x with the 18-55 kit lens, shooting RAW. Would love feedback on the shots and the editing. Thanks!
