The sky is very intensely blue - did you use a polariser? There does not seem to be much distortion, fringing etc. I think cropping the third one to include only the side wall and reflection might look pretty amazing. colinb23

That is brilliant! There seems to be a remarkable depth of field for such a macro view. How close were you to the fly/how much is this picture cropped? How can so many people have looked at this and noone commented? I'd be very pleased to have got such a clear shot . Did you use any special lighting? colinb23

Inreply, xjjohnno, my son is David and he doesn't work in the construction industry. Wish he did - or anywhere really! I'm being a bit unkind as he does sork part time in retail in computers while he finishes his Uni course. Thanks for the welcome. colinb23.

G'day to anyone reading this on the Pentax Forum pages. Just joined though have owned Pentax cameras for perhaps thirty years. Currently have K100D plus some not very high grade zoom lenses. Moved to Australia from UK in 1987. Grown up children. Closing in on retirement and looking to challenge myself with more/better photography. Love sailing, skiing, wine, travel and photography, reading and flims etc. Looking forward to picking some of your highly developed brains! Cheers, Colinb23.
